It’s always refreshing to hear that a major brand is making major changes in favour of sustainability. Nestle, a producer of single-use bottles and straws (among many other things), has said that they are working on alternative material structures to improve recyclability, degradability, and sustainability.
While the option for the consumer to refuse single-use is always optimal, it is not always feasible in communities without safe drinking water. We applaud Nestle’s efforts in striving toward a more eco-friendly future.
